Summary

I earned the Girl Scout Gold Award by leading over 155 hours of community service tackling environmental issues. During my service, I produced and distributed an animation (now used in Middleton High School’s curriculum) and educational posters. I also held presentations and led park cleanups.

What is the Girl Scout Gold Award?
The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn and requires a minimum of 80 hours of community service addressing a specific issue. A Gold Award project must first be vetted to ensure it follows certain requirements, including getting the community involved and making sustainable impact. Learn more here.
